EMNLP (Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing)

EMNLP is one of the main research conferences in natural language processing, organized by the ACL special interest group SIGDAT. The 2026 edition takes place at HUNGEXPO in Budapest over six days, combining the main conference with tutorials and workshops. Papers are reviewed through the ACL Rolling Review process and cover empirical methods across language technology, including large language models. Attendees can register in person or join a virtual platform with live sessions and recordings, and shorter tutorial and workshop passes are also available.
